Should We Warm People Up Quickly or Slowly?
The consensus is that people should be warmed up slowly. Rapid rewarming has its own side effects and can cause cardiovascular issues, instability and arrhythmias. We aim to warm people up about approximately one and a half degrees per hour. And this is reserved for the more moderate to severe groups.
