Sally Kohn: Donald Trump represents a turning point from the Republicans position on individual freedom versus the common good. She says he was making the most communitarian promises of any Republican candidate since, you know, probably Eisenhower or Nixon. But what allowed him to outperform Mitt Romney in 2012 and 2016 is his ability to peel off support in the common good zones just enough to flip a bunch of electoral states she says.Kohn: Do you think that's completely epiphenomenal?
