Darwin Accepted Christianity

Darwin couldn't reconcile why god would use a process like evolution to create life, ash human beings. He has this famous example in his correspondence with asa grey, who was a very prominent christian slash a botanist. Why is it that weis human beings? What is this the higher level of sentience? Not? I don't buy that. It's got to be more than that. If from an atheist's point of view, you can be kind of bot by evil, but you shouldn't really be that bothered by it. And i think that lends credence to a christian world view.
