The Wealth of Nations

There's some evidence to say that Smith's favorite book of his was the theory of moral sentiments, not the wealth of nations. Many people think Hume put him up to the assignment and said, hey, why don't you go look at the economy? That would be a place to start in creating our science of man. But regardless of whether Smith preferred the wealth of nation, I'm an economist and so that's the one I'll pick.
