Notification of the Next Akin
The news was reporting that there was an ambush o an american soldiers killed in africa. And she was sitting at the top of her stairs waiting when she heard the notification team arrive. Went through the entire next day, got her kids off to school in the morning without telling them,. until their grandfather could come, and then told them afterwards. What a nightmare. I've been kind of proximale to a few times where it was getting outstripped by either the rumor mill fucking people on the phone or the news - they had to accelerate the notification process.
