The Covid Inquiry Into Boris Johnson's Personal Notebooks

The Covid inquiry kicks off properly next week. There's a really powerful and bitter battle going on about how the Covid inquiry has access to information shared by ministers. In particular, obviously the focus has been on Boris Johnson and some of his personal notebooks. The government is trying to go to essentially war in the courts to block the release of key information that relates to Boris Johnson and his dealings with people like Rishi Sunat. But it does seem quite clear that in the law there's a piece of legislation that the chair is for her to decide what she can get hold of.
