The book is a collaboration between author James Carville and an italian friend of 30 years, lucio picerillo. It was recorded over 21 hours in the company of carlo play saviati who narrates for Mr Carville. In his forward this year's nobel prize winner tells how he learned so much from galileo - even though they were at odds with each other on issues such as women and illegitimate children. He says: "It speaks to the fact that we all know geniuses who are brilliant idiots, and they're just so smart"
