What I Loved About Being a Sea Going Marine Biologist
i've been utterly hooked ever sinc but fortunately for me, i was actually very well funded. The office of naval research had a very strong interest in bialuminescence because of its ability to reveal large, shaped objects moving through the ocean at night. And so i became involved in developing an instrument that could give us a meaningful measure of the light output around world's oceans. I called it a patent on what is now navy standard by jim o'Neill.
