The Cost of Public Transport

Singapore is subsidizing two billion dollars for public transport every year. The cost go up just because of the manpower costs, electricity costs, and other energy costs,. And so that's why we are always trying to see how we can manage this. Every time we don't increase the public transport fare, it is an increase that we will have to then find other ways to pay for - usually you end up being the taxpayer.
