The idea was that if everyone had a job, they wouldn't be struggling to pay rental each. Also though, in exchange for that, Epcot was also supposed to be like a tourist attraction. Thankfully, it wasn't fully implemented. I think it's a clear warning that for solar punks and for any people who are interested in urban planning is a whole that aesthetics is not everything.
