How to Find a Great Mentor

What makes a great mentor for an adult with ADHD is somebody that "gets you." But oftentimes, adults with ADHD are misunderstood and our challenges are discounted. If you have decided that you would like to work with a mentor, Dave discusses a number of areas that a mentor should focus on with you.

While there is definitely some coaching involved in mentorship, a few of the ways a mentor can be most effective is when they can establish rapport and connection with you, they can listen and give you the full attention you deserve, they can be your cheerleader, and share in your wins and help you set some realistic goals that you can achieve.
