In 19 94, at age 34, rocky elmore joined the us. Border patrol and was assigned to brownfield border patrol station in san diego. After 20 years as a border patrol agent, he retired. He did so in part because he had just become a father for the first time at the age of 54. This meant that he no longer had a law enforcement career to look out for.
