The Misborn Trilogy, Is It a Trilogy?

Book one is a good story, but without books two and three, you might not love it. Readers seem to be interested in a world that is inclusive enough that they resonate. And i don't think that happens in a single book. You really can't do what brandon sanderson wanted to do with this trilogy without having book one. If if you're listeng to the podcast and you haven't read the end of the book, i guess that's your fault, isn't it?
