The Meaning of Beit Dale in the Bible

In Mesopotamia, in the language of the Babylonians and Assyrians, which is known as Acadian, the name for the divine statue that came alive was Salmou. But among the Canaanites and their neighbors, the Aramaeans,. the name for a similar sort of slab of stone that they believe a deity came to inhabit wasn't Salmou but Beit Dale. This is a really interesting way to get into the thought process of ancient people. Perhaps this is the key to understanding some peculiar wording in the biblical text.
