How to Rise Above in the Arts
For people in society who have the least say, get vilified the most basically. And this is just something that I have explored to all my novels and it seems to be something that you explore in your work as well. This is how they, you know, how they make their way by having knowledge and talents that are sought after and that they can use to rise above. So for me, even when I didn't really know what was what and I just started reading sort of,. you know, randomly at the library, things that seemed part of a sort of separate canon or a non-canon or a canon that was more post-modern maybe.
