The State of the Union and the State of Our Economy Is Strong
Job gains were widespread in just about every sector. Leisure and hospitality added 128,000 jobs as America continued to rebound from the pandemic. The unemployment rate fell to 3.4%. That is a 53-year low. But Moody's chief economist says it would take an awful lot to send US economy into downturn.
