Is There a Difference Between Declarative and Procedural Memory?

Long-term memory is divided into three types: declarative, procedural and episodic. Declarative memory is facts about your life or things that have happened in your life. Procedural memory is rules; it's if this, then that. So these are parts of what we would normally think of as long-term memory. Act R2.0 and 4.0 do not deal with episodic memory at all.
