When we step out of this thing, we should be roughly in the same spot where Boston, Massachusetts is in the present day. This is what parts of North America looked like 20,000 years ago. Big parts of our continent were covered in ice, a giant ice sheet. And that's why we sometimes call this period in history an ice age. I am ready to go back now because I am freezing and I left my jacket back in the lab.
