Sufi Applications Are the Application of Knowledge Already Gained by the People Who Have Applied It

Is mental stabilization, or social comfort, another word for being on the way to heaven? Or is it a lower, though very essential, herd need? What are the elements, if any, which have to be worked with in order to understand more of human capabilities in the realm of the mind? Can we really dare to analyze these things which we like most herd minded community take as constants. And i have not even begun to ask the questions which a sufi would ask if he were to be faced with someone who wanted to know about his teaching.
