The database does not really get migrated. So we just migrate the database down from production to the lower environment so we can test with real-world data. And if data base migrations need to happen, that can all happen by a CLI script That's do those types of kind of replacements. But for the most part, the database we're only using is to get kind of example content of production environments into lower environments,. and not so much migrating data. Is it accurate to say that Composer is as to PHP as npm is to JavaScript? Prettymuch. Roughly speaking, yes.
