Is the Greek Version of the Old Testament a Key Word in the New Testament?

A lot of biblical writers take keywords from the Old Testament and wax eloquent about them. This is a key example of that kind of thing, because it becomes clear throughout the book of Hebrews that this writer is making exclusive use of the Greek version of the Old Testament. Was he simply taking advantage of the Greek to create what we would assess as a superficial link between the passages and then put it to work? Yeah. Different modern interpreters interpret that in different ways.
