The Adonis Colt in Bethlehem
The location that s known as the church nativity is built over a place that's already being remembered by early christians. This has many parallels, going back to a demuse or tamuz and an ishtar in mesopotamian literature. And it makes a lot of sense that the romans would choose to establish an adonis colt on this location. In other forms off religion, how everyo one to describe it, the attributes of their divinities have specific characteristics. The same thing happened at the church o holy sepulchre.
