The Oil Industry Is Changing Directions
The number of severe incidents have decreased over the last few years. Shell's inspections went up significantly in recent years without a corresponding increase in incidence. Brazil has seen tremendous growth over the last five, 10, 15 years and it's now producing over 3 million barrels a day. The oil industry continues to be squeezed in terms of demand by regulations and policies related to climate change.
