Do You Think the Conviction Rate Is a Lot Smaller Than We Might Think It Is?
Last year, ten times more people were convicted of stealing dogs than there were convictions for human trafficking. Do you think that's an indication of the fact this industry is a lot smaller than we might think it is? Or is adjusted? The conviction rate is so appallingly low and i think we're now slowly starting to see that number increase. For example, awareness and support of survivors, which is a big thing. And oftentimes hidden behind cultural elements such as lets lar in migratory issues where victims are often deported instead of being processed under protection.
