The Chicago Fed National Activity Index for February
I may do a local shift premium live special on Sunday night again, because maybe there'll be some announcement over the weekend coming out of this plunge protection team. So if there's something big going on, you won't have to wait until the Monday podcast. The data was still worse than expected and it does show a contracting economy. This financial crisis didn't kick off until March. None of this is in the February data, which was already bad.
