H Pilori - Who Should You Test For?
The strongest indications for h pilori testing are active peptic ulcer disease, a history of gastric cancer or low grade malt limphoma. dyspepsia, long term aspirn or en sed use, unexplained iron deficiency, anemia or i t p may be considered for testing. It is very controversial as to whether we should be screening a symptomatic people for each pilori infection. H priori may also be protective of gird and while eradicating each pilori might decrease gastor cancer risk, it may also sophigial cancer risk in populations.
