The Role of Pets in Modern Life
There are some parts of the animal rights movement that say we shouldn't be keeping pets at all. It's obviously a political and cultural non-starter to suggest as such, but I do think we should radically rethink the role of pets in modern life. The idea of abolishing pets is really interesting. It gives us a lot to chew on. But it's certainly not going to happen soon.
