The Diversity of the World
The United States is the melting pot of the world and it's number 15. I think one being smaller and two being culturally homogenous makes it easier to govern like you don't have these groups of people who have very different worldviews or what they want from the government. The problem is that you're always keeping up with the Joneses and that aspect of reality really screws people so what the Scandinavians lack we have in insane abundance which is happiness equals not just economic prosperity but like I need more than everyone else next to me to be happy.
