The Value of Formal Versus Informal Discipleship
Paul likened discipleship to nurturing like a nursing mother which is similar to Titus 2, principle of older women teaching and training younger women. So we see that nurturing or relational aspect of discipleship but he goes on to say we shared not only the gospel but also ourselves. There's intentionality in sharing the information of the gospel. But at the same time, he was sharing himself. And it's not always that every time you're together, there's equal amounts of each.
