The City of Sydney Is Not Putting That Money to Work for the Community
The city of sydney was in a position to buy that building. It has bought other buildings in the city, actually does. And so it's gone to private developers. At a smaller level, without such iconic a heritage and historical spaces like that, that sell off of lowincome housing is happening all over for public and private. We don't need the state government to do it. We can. This is something that the cities has. The longer we leave doing something about that, then the harder it's going to get and the more expensive going to get.
