This film is continuing those themes that were clearly already popular in Hollywood, you know, two years earlier. It was really critically acclaimed. You can see that it's continuing in that vein of kind of women centered thrillers. But this movie just adds a few more little touches of what we now come to know as modern horror, right? And you can really see that, especially in some of the set pieces in some of those kind of murder set pieces.
