Rachel Yates is a British clinical psychologist and mother. Just after the birth of her daughter she became aware of our climate emergency and decided to blend her experience and expertise as a psychologist, her climate concern, and her growing interest in parenting to create CLIMATE PARENTING: Cool parenting on a warming planet.

This six-week course helps parents connect with their climate emotions and discover their unique role in our climate emergency.

I had a wonderful time chatting with Rachel about the mental blocks stopping the everyday parent from engaging in climate action and the great importance of parents stepping up to the huge, but sometimes invigorating and character-solidifying challenge.
