The Importance of Memory in Education in the Middle Ages
During the middle ages, it became increasingly necessary to cultivate memory. Education struggled forward unsteadily like a ship thrown out of balance by a storm. Waldorf education is based on the question of how to educate in a time when the soul still rebels against preserving the child after the seventh year.
