Noemi is the youngest of five children born to Mexican immigrants. She was fully indoctrinated into the Jehovah's Witness Organization for a little over 20 years. Fast forward to her early twenties, she chose to leave the church and I was shunned myself. Noemi: On top of grieving my father's death, I was flooded with emotions about my relationship with my family.
