The Disconnect Between Online and Traditional Chess

Online chess and then classical chess. tournaments like Tada Steel, the Grand Chess Tour,. these are usually based on rating or personal relationships. I still think classical chess is too traditional for that at the moment. That's very much the online chess scene and there's a big disconnect.
