What Is the Problem With Theorists?
We see a lot of turning away from so called traditional instruction or design an in the world. People as euto pia, don't read the stuff. Is part of the problem, that these ideas are rooted in particular contexts, dapplied as generalities but then the context disappears. And this type of thinking is also coming out in 20 first century skills, which just seem like more academic, abstract nonsense. i think we have to take learning seriously. A look at what these people were doing is folding in the cognitive science, the good science behind learning, and trying to make it real.
