Oral Health - What a Jarring Example of How Little We Learn in Medical School

Peridonal disease, a k a, bone loss in the jaws around the teeth affects forty % of adults over the age of 30 and 70% of adults over 65. The fact that we don't talk about our oral health problems in the same way that we talk about our systemic health problems is all to do with this historic rebuff, you might say. And i had no idea that carries were this prevalent before we started talking about it.
