The He-Ni Triangle: A Phonicological Problem
In derivational processes where you take verbs and turn them into nouns, there's a he-ni triangle. This helps determine what the prefix vowel of the noun is supposed to be based on the final vowel of the resulting morphological process. And for that, he basically has the normal third person pronoun, le, in a he, reversed L. The problem is, for me, is that's the only example in the entire book of how that's supposed to work. There are some cases where it seems like he wasn't thinking things all the way through.
