Nordom Sihanuk was a member of both of Cambodia's two leading royal families, the Sisawoths and the Nordoms. His parents were terrified he was going to die on them. They consulted an astrologer, which was a normal thing to do at the time. The astrologer warned that if he was raised by his mom and dad, he would die early.
