The Acceptance of Small Children
The god is unexplainably present in each breath and heartbeat, as merton says, coursing through our very b veins. This is not to say that we don't have to try to accept. We have to reflect and ponder onit and say, based upon careful consideration, i stand in the truth of what's said here. In order to accept as a small child accepts that the fulness of god is already unexplainably upon you, pouring itself out as every breath and heart beat is to accept it as asmall child accepts. Is to become an act of acceptance as an adult.
