Kaiso's Spin Jump

The spin jump is such a core mechanic of kaiso's but its power in the base game is hidden. I've played the game like 15 times and have never really used the spin jump. But there are so many places where it kills. Now i'm thinking parts of the game i trouble with and wondering if it's because i should be spin jumping. Just another layer of depth cover on the next play through. That's definitely something that in this current playing of a mario world, just now, because of playing kaiso, i actually now incorporate spin jumping into what i'm doing.
