Mexico's New President, General Huerta

In 1904, Carranza is a pretty contented if obscure member of the Porfirian order. That all changed with the election of 1909. He turned his attention to supporting his old patron Bernard O'Rias for the presidency of 1910. But as it stood, the new president of Mexico was General Huerta. So Carranza decided to refuse to recognize Huerta and instead take his chances with armed resistance. In 1913 he set up shop at the ASEAN de Guadalupe and drafted their plan for rebellion.
