The Effects of Cold Plunge on Muscular Hypertrophy

In 1985, a journal article said you can expect to have less muscular hypertrophy if you expose yourself to a cold plunge after resistance exercise. Fast forward 30 years and peaking colleagues in 2015 used almost exactly the same parameters. The control group who continued to exercise at a low level had a 17% improvement in hypertrophy,. A 19% improvement in isokinetic strength, and a 26% improvement in per muscle fiber.
