i am convinced he's going to go down as one of the best cos in history, not for his editing abilities, but for his ability to manage the divisions when he came to the helm of microsot. Steve jobs was basically the ultimate product manager. Idea generation had to flow up, and then editing had the sort ofike decision making a down. Worked phenomenally well for apple. And i think what we saw is, once they lose that, then the natural sort of entrope of or nation starts to take over,. You start slipping in areas that were sort of held together by the force at the top previously.
