Jonathan atkinson is co founder of a manchester base organization, people powered retrofit. And their aim is to encourage retrofiting by making the whole process a bit simpler. In previous projects that we've done, we've seen savings of up to 50 % in gas use and up to 60 % in carbon omissions. That's for kindof budgets of around forty to 50 thousand pounds. What we'd also say is there are savings that can be achieved with little or no money. So it shouldn't put people off by hearing some big figures. It used one a full refit of your house, pretty much.
