The immigration act of 19 65 finally removed race specific restriction on immigrants, which led to a new migration of asian immigrants coming to the united states. Anthony's father came over during that time. A, that it was a big, kind of like second asian migration wave into the united States. And a lot of new families were looking for a fresh start in the united states and they did not know about america's history of anti asian raceism.
