The Silmarillion: The Perspective of Elves

In the Silmarillion, it says, what may befall their spirits after death, the elves know not. Some say they go to the halls of Mandos, but their place of waiting there is not that of the elves. None have ever come back from the mansions of the dead,. save one, and I'm not going to tell you who that is yet. Those are my words. Because I've got to keep some secret here, right? Some anticipation of what's going to happen in the future. There is a story and I have a feeling we'll get to that fairly soon. But for now, nobody else has ever came back from the halls ofMandos.
