He talks about the moon being made out of silver and this might be allegorical. He says that chemists who are always affect the mystery in their words call that metal by the name of the moon so he's describing the reason why these alchemist and chemists refer to the moon being silver is because it actually is made of silver. The third which is abstained from eating beans relates to diogenes mounted upon a crossway stone at the bottom lay a tub expounding an auditory much like singers.
