I'm Bemused by the Cut in the Additional Rate of Income Tax
I think it's both an economic crisis, but also a really significant political crisis. I'm bemused by it, frankly, because I mean, I think it's the worst thing I've ever seen. The policy that seems to be the trigger is the cut in the additional rate of income tax. Now, that is a two billion pound tax cut. In normal times, we would say that's quite big, but in the scale of everything that's going on, it's not that big.
