There's another question too of how law is self functioned in the ancient world. So i wouldn't want to make grand statements on the law as a whole. Sure, i what i'm really interested in deuteronomy is the theology of it. How do these laws that seem to go right against what we think of the significance of the family? What are they doing there? And how do they, what do they teach us about about this idea of law?"
